Two Delaware resort towns are considering banning smoking at the beach. Beachgoers in Bethany Beach and South Bethany Beach may soon have to leave their cigarettes behind. So far, the ban has the support from the Town Council.

Two Delaware resort towns are considering banning smoking at the beach. Beachgoers in Bethany Beach and South Bethany Beach may soon have to leave their cigarettes behind. So far, the ban has the support from the Town Council.
If the ban goes through, Bethany’s beaches will be the first shore towns in the region to enact no smoking policies on the beach. The earliest the ban would be adopted is this Winter or sometime in 2008.
