Property Rights for all include Smokers Rights! Scotland: ASH Scotland looks for support from Scottish Government, as smoking rate remains static. Freedom to Choose (Scotland) Chairman Eddie Douthwaite said, “It is clear that the smoking ban in Scotland (now over four years old), the increase of the smoking age to 18, and relentless government anti-smoking propaganda have had very little effect on reducing the number of smokers.”

Ireland: Census and Anti Lies. By Simon Clark. That’s almost another half million people who took up smoking in three short years. And yet, we constantly hear that this hideous ban is a resounding success. Ireland: Pub Closures Caused By Smoking Ban – Report. John Mallon, spokesman Forest Eireann which represents smokers in Ireland, said, “The smoking ban has had a devastating impact on Ireland’s pubs. Instead of enjoying what should be a good night out with their friends, many smokers are choosing to stay at home. Coming to the smokers-only cafe takes the shame out of lighting up, Kawano said.

USA: Center for Regulatory Effectiveness States that the FDA Tobacco Advisory Committee is in Violation of the Federal Advisory Committee Act. Central to CRE’s arguments is the fact that FDA is dominating the advisory committee by controlling the production of key studies. CRE has called these illegal actions to the attention of FDA a number of times but FDA continues to act outside the law because they conclude that since the product in question is tobacco that the normal rules of fair play do not apply.

The WHO has blown all our money promoting ineffective smoking cessation products and policies, rather than concentrate on their mandate of dealing with ill health in the third world. As a result, millions have died needlessly, yet the WHO still demands more money to continue its anti smoking agenda.
